Who operates Renomi
Renomi is operated by Aivoy LTD. Contact matt@aivoy.io for privacy questions or requests. This notice describes the redesigned iOS app, version 2.0 build 27 onward.
Your photos and AI designs
When you agree to create or refine a design, your selected photo and design instructions are sent through our server to OpenAI for AI image generation. Your instructions include room, style, palette and any written preferences. Do not upload photos you do not have permission to use. Generated images can change details and are intended as visual inspiration. OpenAI processes API data under its applicable service terms and retention policies; we do not promise zero retention. We do not use your photos to train our own AI models.
Accounts and saved designs
Firebase creates an anonymous account identifier so we can provide your allowance and saved designs without requiring registration. If you register, Firebase also processes your email address and authentication credentials. Saved design images are stored in Amazon S3, and design records and usage information are stored in MongoDB and associated with your account identifier. Our application server is hosted by Render. An anonymous account identifier is still data linked to your account.
Subscriptions
Apple processes iOS purchases. RevenueCat processes your app account identifier, transaction information and subscription status so we can provide and restore paid access. We do not receive your full payment-card details. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account subscriptions settings. RevenueCat may also send purchase conversion events to Meta for advertising measurement when App Tracking Transparency consent is authorized. Events can include purchase information and account or device identifiers. The integration is configured not to send these events when that consent is not authorized. You can review tracking permission in iOS Settings.
Free design eligibility
To limit the free design to one per person and device, the app keeps a random app-specific identifier in secure device storage. Our server stores its hash and whether the free design has been used. Apple DeviceCheck is used to check and record device eligibility. We retain the redeemed eligibility record to prevent repeated claims, including after account deletion or reinstall. It is not used for advertising.
Analytics and technical data
PostHog receives app interactions, onboarding selections, generation success or failure events, subscription-flow events and technical device information associated with your app account identifier. We use this to understand and improve the app. Session recording is disabled in this iOS version. We do not send your room photos or written design brief as analytics event properties. Service providers also process technical connection and security information such as IP addresses. This iOS version does not activate the legacy Meta or TikTok advertising integrations or collect the advertising identifier for those integrations.
Retention and deletion
Account and saved-design records are retained to provide your account and history. You can delete individual saved designs, or use Your account → Delete account & designs to request removal of your app account and saved designs. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Subscription records, security records, backups and records held by processors may be retained under their applicable policies or legal obligations. The redeemed free-design eligibility record is retained to prevent repeat claims. Contact matt@aivoy.io if deletion fails or to request help with data held by our processors.
Your choices and rights
You can decline the AI upload permission and continue browsing. Camera and photo-library access are controlled in iOS Settings. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict processing or object to it, and complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact matt@aivoy.io to exercise these rights. We process data to provide the service you request, protect accounts and prevent abuse, improve service reliability, and meet applicable legal obligations.
International processing and security
Our providers may process information outside your country. We use authenticated access and encrypted network connections, and rely on provider safeguards for their services. No system is completely secure. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.
Children and changes
The service is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can investigate and arrange removal. We will update this notice when our practices change and seek fresh permission where required.
